The picture on the right shows a ‘forged’ wheel spanner. This is NOT a SOLID FORGED wheel spanner. The x-ray of the weld shows considerable lack of fusion which can cause the tool to fail. BEWARE of any spanner described as forged, fabricated or extended as these are usually NOT solid forged.
